House Rules Specific to this Property

FINES: In addition to the damages described above that are enforced by property owner, Sweetwater Golf Course Homeowners Association will impose the following fines for the described safety violations.

Use of any fireworks $1,000/occurrence

Discharge of firearms $1,000/occurrence

Hunting Up to $1,000/occurrence

Outside solid fuel fire Up to $1,000/occurrence

Blocking a road        Up to $250/occurrence

Traffic or ATV violation Up to $250/occurrence

Excessive noise       Up to $250/occurrence 

• Linens: Leave used bath towels and sheets on floor

• Trash: Take all trash to the dumpster on the road to Pickleville

• Turn off:

  • • Interior lights on both floors

    • Exterior lights on both floors, except marked, motion-sensitive security lights

    • Propane tank on grill

    • Air conditioners/Heaters (2 on main floor)

• Deck: Roll down deck umbrella

• Keys:

  • • Put one house key back into lockbox

    • Put second house key and Ideal Beach Resort key on rack by front door

• Kitchen: Put all dirty dishes in dishwasher and run the dishwasher. You do NOT need to empty the dishwasher.

• Supplies: Please let us know if any supplies need to be restocked for future guests.

We use this cabin, so there is always some food in the cabinets, but there is pretty of space for your supplies.  You are welcome to use any spices in the kitchen.

This rental includes access to Ideal Beach Private Resort for ONE CAR AND NO MORE THAN SIX PEOPLE.  

Ideal Beach staff at the gatehouse watch for “shuttling”.  

If they observe you “shuttling” people in, we will be fined $1,500 and will pass that charge to individuals who violate the policy.

A professional cleaning company will prepare the cabin for your rental.  Your rental should be clean and ready for occupancy on arrival. If we do not hear from you within 1 hour after check-in, we presume you found it in satisfactory condition. If the cabin does not meet your cleaning expectations, please call us immediately.

There are only a few cleaning companies in Garden City. All charge a similar rate for comparable properties. Listings with differing cleaning fees are likely incorporating cleaning costs into the rental rate.

Garden City service workers make the majority of their income for the whole year during the summer months. There is no pressure from us to tip, but if you tip joyfully, the cleaning staff appreciates the gesture.
